Bill Burns
William J. “Bill” Burns was a former vice-president and general manager of WWBA who came to the St. Petersburg station in August 1983. He left in March 1987 to accept a similar position with KKBQ/Houston and KKBQ-FM/Pasadena, TX, and passed away the next December from a heart attack at the age of 45.
