Nikki began her radio work hosting the night show at KSSR in San Antonio, TX while enrolled in the mass communications program in college. She later took the mid-day slot at KONO. Since radio didn’t pay all the bills, she supplemented her income by modeling and doing several national commercials and calendars.
She became the traffic reporter for WFLA-TV Channel 8 after moving to Tampa in 1999 and also hosted “Chick Flicks” on WMOR-TV Channel 32. Her radio work in the Bay Area includes stints with WWRM, WSSR, WMTX, and WSJT.
Today (2009) Nikki co-hosts mornings with Mason Dixon on Q105 WRBQ and is the news anchor for the WQYK morning show. With a Bachelor’s degree in psychology already under her belt, she is attending graduate school for her Master’s in mental health counseling, and plans to obtain a Doctorate’s in clinical psychology.
