Terry Nichols
Terry (born Bertram Frederick "Nick" Nickerson) was a World War II vet who worked at Plant City’s WPLA as a deejay from 1957 to 1960 before joining Tampa’s WYOU in the mid 60’s and becoming its program director.
He was an emcee for numerous country music shows in the area and also managed some local artists and bands.
Terry passed away in 2006 at the age of 85.
