Allyson Turner
Allyson joined Jack Harris and Tedd Webb on Newsradio 970 WFLA’s top-rated “AM Tampa Bay” morning show for about a year, from late January to mid December 2010, replacing 10-year morning veteran Sharon Taylor whose contract was not renewed.
The Philadelphia native earned her Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and started her radio career in her hometown with the Philadelphia Phillies flagship station.
Prior to the Tampa move, Allyson worked in Miami as assistant PD for Sportsradio 560 WQAM and PD for WAXY 790 The Ticket. She's also worked for CBS SportsLine.com and co-hosted an online sports radio show based in Miami.
