Rick Collins
Rick (Rich Gonzalez) was a Tampa native who worked the midnight to 6 A.M. shift at Lakeland’s WQPD in 1976. Over the years he worked at a number of Tampa Bay stations including WPKM, WTCX, WILZ (midday's ’75-’76), and WWBA. In 1999 he co-hosted the morning show with comic G-David Howard on Clearwater’s WTAN.
Today (2005) Rick owns an electronics business in St. Petersburg that builds RF shielding components for circuit boards and is also involved in a sports business selling memorabilia.
