Nick Van Cleve
Nick’s years in Tampa Bay go back to 1978-1981 when he pulled nights and was music director for WQXM, the first 98 Rock. In the mid 80’s, he and Jeff Jensen teamed to become WYNF’s morning team, “Nick & Jeff.” Then, after a stint at KLOS/Los Angeles, he returned to the “Y” to do afternoons in 1991. He’s also been heard on 102.5 The Point WHPT and Thunder 103.5 WTBT.
In early March 2019, after over 40 years in Tampa Bay radio, 15 of them in morning drive at Cox's classic rock The Eagle 107.3 WXGL, Van Cleve announced he would exit the station at the end of the month, saying he had grown weary of getting up at 4:30 A.M. and wanted to do some traveling with his wife.
