Mitch Perry

Mitch was a news anchor and assistant news and public affairs director for 88.5 FM WMNF, Tampa’s community radio station. After nearly 10 years assembling the station's weeknight one-hour 6 P.M. newscast, he left the station in September 2009 to join the staff of Creative Loafing, an area alternative newspaper, as a news and politics editor.

Before coming to Tampa, Perry attended San Francisco State University (1984-1987), and was a general assignment reporter and anchor for KPFA-FM in Berkeley, CA.
