Roger P. Schulman
Although born in Patterson, New Jersey, Roger grew up in Freeport, Illinois. After high school, he attended Highland Community College there and went on to serve in the U.S. Army in Germany and South Korea.
After his military obligations were over, he enrolled at the University of South Florida and majored in mass communications. Since 1972, he’s been a fixture in Tampa Bay radio at WLCY, WDAE, Q105, WSUN, Mix 96, and WFLA.
Roger was morning news anchor and news director for Genesis Communications' News Talk 820 AM WWBA until he was let go October 1, 2010. Today (2023), he is news director at 860 The Answer WGUL in Dunedin.
