Sharon Creedon
Sharon was promotions director for Lakeland’s WEZY and WLKF from 1985 to 1987. In 1990 she joined Anheuser-Busch Theme Parks as vice-president of marketing for Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven. When the brewery decided to sell the attraction in 1995, she and a group of the park’s managers bought the property.
Since then, she has been senior vice-president of marketing for Visit Florida, a marketing partnership designed to help increase Florida’s tourism industry (2001-2003), and a publisher for Miles Media Group (2003-2006).
Today (2011), Sharon owns her own business and marketing company, Creedon Management Services, and is an adjunct instructor at Polk Community College.
