Pat George graduated from Robinson High School in Tampa. In the late 70's, he found himself on the air doing news and traffic for Tampa's AM-1250 WDAE, and driving the Bill Currie Ford courtesy van along Tampa's interstate system helping stranded motorists. During this time he also attended the Hillsborough County Police Academy (1978-79) to become an auxiliary police officer with the Tampa Police Department.
In 1981, when Pat accepted an offer from Q105's Scott Shannon to join the "Q Morning Zoo" to report on traffic conditions for the station, he once again found himself behind the wheel of the Bill Currie Ford courtesy van. In 1999, he was named to head up the promotions department for the Walt Disney Company's new Radio Disney WWMI AM-1380 in St. Petersburg, which he did until 2010. Later, he worked as a security officer at the Hillsborough County Courthouse and a school officer with the Hillsborough County School System.
Pat returned to radio in 2015 as a traffic reporter for iHeart Radio. A year later, Beasley Media Group hired him as a traffic reporter and producer for many of its local shows.
