Bill Owens
Bill Owens was Billy the Phone Freak, producer of the popular “Ron & Ron Show” at Tampa Bay’s 95YNF, AM-620 WSUN, and WZTM-AM 820, as well as the syndicated “Ron & Ron Radio Network.” After the show ended, he became a computer-programmer with Boeing at the Kennedy Space Center and lived in the Orlando area.
In 2005, Owens returned to radio to produce Ron Diaz’s new show on Thunder 103.5 WTBT, and gave some long distance assistance to former Ron & Ron alumni Ron Bennington and Fez Whatley’s “Ron and Fez.com” show on New York’s WNEW-FM. His production credits also include the nationally syndicated “Monsters of the Midday.”
Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and today (2012), develops Web pages, works with digital photography, and buys and sells real estate as a licensed agent in Florida.
