Greg Jarrett

Greg started his broadcasting career in 1970 while in high school in New Iberia, Louisiana, and continued on in college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette (1971-1973) and the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque.

In 1977, at the age of 25, he arrived in San Francisco as KYA’s news director. A few years later, he moved to a similar position in Tampa Bay to supervise the transition of Top 40 WLCY to News/Talk WNSI (1980-81). After the plug was pulled on the new operation about 14 months later, he joined AM-620 WSUN across town as its morning news anchor. Since 1986, he’s worked at San Francisco’s KGO, been an ABC News correspondent, and hosted the morning show for WGN/Chicago.

Today (2012), Greg is CEO of Jarrett Voice Services, a voiceover and news crisis management business.
