Sandy Hall
Sandy was a Mass Communications student at the University of South Florida when she was hired as an intern in 1972 to do WFLA’s Sunday 2AM-6AM shift. Soon she had the distinction of being the station’s first full-time female deejay when she was promoted to overnights.
In 1976, she joined WLCY doing, among other things, continuity and public affairs. She worked for Maas Brothers in advertising and then took sales positions at WFLA-TV and the Home Shopping Network.
Sandy has a degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Regis University in Denver, and today (2013) is a director and president of the Dowling Property Owners’ Association in Dade City.
