WUKS - A History
WUKS-FM 100.7 Tampa – Gannett’s adult contemporary WUSA-FM became Kiss FM WUKS in 1996. When Jacor acquired the station in 1997, the calls became WAKS. Studios were at 504 Reo Street in Tampa.
Names from WUKS history include longtime Tampa Bay morning show favorites Mason Dixon, Bill Connolly, and JoJo Walker, Mike Jennings (late-nights), and Dan DiLoreto (general manager).
