Valorie Flowers
Valorie grew up with radio. Her father, Eugene Danzey, owned WRXB and had been involved in the medium for many years.
After graduating from Florida A&M University with a degree in psychology, she was filling in for vacationing announcers at her dad’s station when she realized how much she loved radio. After that, she decided to drop plans for going on to graduate school and settled in on a midday air shift.
Valorie went on to become general manager at WRXB and corporate secretary for Rolyn Communications, it’s owner.
