Sara Michaels
She was born in Salem, Illinois, but Sara was raised in Winter Haven. Her big break came when she was named Promotions Director and got an on-air shift at Winter Haven’s WHNR.
After starting on WPCV’s overnights and then moving to the 6 to midnight shift, Sara was bumped to mornings in 2004, co-hosting with Tom O’Brien. In late 2006 she took over afternoon drive from PD Mike James after he came off the air to focus on additional duties as Operations Manager.
