Tom Trulson
Tom began his radio career in 1972 with the Armed Forces Radio & Television Service’s Far East Network in Japan, where he got experience in radio/TV news writing.
Moving to Lakeland in the mid 1970’s, he started his radio work part-time on the weekends as an announcer at WVFM, then moved to Lakeland’s new Christian FM, WCIE, in 1977 to do news. In 1990, he took name Thomas Lee and became the news director for WEZY and WLKF upon the untimely death of then-neews director Paul Hershey.
Today (2005) Tom works with the Lakeland Police Department.
