Chris Kelly

Chris joined Hall Communications’ WWRZ as host of the morning "Wake-Up Show" in 1998. In 2006 he moved from morning drive to afternoons, and later flipped to nights on sister station 97 Country WPCV.

The St. Louis native studied radio and television at Broadcast Center, and received his BA in communications from Meramac College. He also studied TV production at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri.

Prior to signing on with WWRZ he worked afternoons at WZYZ-FM in Fairmont, North Carolina, KJCK-FM in Junction City, Kansas, WYNA-FM in Tabor City, North Carolina (as PD 1988-1992), and Q-98 WQSM-FM in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In 1993 he returned to St. Louis to work with classic hits KIHT-FM and, from there, moved on to KTCS-FM in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and KZNN in Rolla, Missouri, where he was program director.

Chris left Lakeland’s Hall stations in early February 2013.
