Paul Hayes
In the mid/late 1950’s, Paul was a newsman at St. Pete’s WSUN-AM and a news anchor on WSUN-TV Channel 38. In the 60’s, he did mornings at WFLA and WPIN, worked at WINQ, and taught courses in broadcasting with former WSUN sports director Jay Black.
He also ran his own sound company from studios in his St. Petersburg home. Paul Hayes Productions provided commercials, store-casting broadcasts, and background music.
Paul passed away in Kingston Springs, Tennessee on February 28, 2012 at the age of 86.
