Jonathan Pinch
Jon entered the radio business in the late 1960’s. By 1982, he was working in Tampa Bay and, throughout that decade and into the 90’s, had become general manager of Magic 96 WMGG-FM, WHBO AM-1040, W-Lite 95.7 WNLT, and Mix 96 WMTX AM/FM.
He went on to serve as executive vice-president and chief operating officer of AllPennyStocks.com Media, president of Clear Channel International Radio and, beginning in 2000, executive VP and COO of Cumulus Media. With Clear Channel, he was responsible for the management of all CCU radio operations outside of the United States, which included over 300 properties in 9 countries. He was also owner and president of WTVK-TV Ft Myers-Naples, FL, owner/general manager of WKLH-FM Milwaukee, and GM for Milwaukee’s WXJY.
In September 2014, Jon announced that he would retire in late November, but he later decided to take on one more key assignment for Cumulus, that as market manager of its six-station cluster in Atlanta.
