Hank O'Neil
Hank was born Henry Hagamen Burdick in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from high school, followed by three years in the Marines, he began his career in radio.
In 1967 he joined WPGC in Washington DC, then several Detroit area stations, including WJBK, CKLW, WHND and WWWW. He retired in 1992 from WCCW/Traverse City, Michigan and moved to Winter Haven, where he pulled mornings for WHNR in 1993-1994.
Hank still lived in the Winter Haven area at the time of his death, January 15th, 2011, from congestive heart failure. He was 72.
