Todd Wright

Todd’s first on-air experience was as the play-by-play voice for the Miami Hurricanes when he was still a student at the University of Miami. He went on to become a sports/talk host in the early 1990’s for Sportsradio 910 WFNS, Tampa Bay’s first all-sports station, and has often filled in on “The Steve Duemig Show” on The Sports Animal 620-WDAE when Deumig went on vacation.

He hosted “All Night with Todd Wright” on ESPN Radio from 1996 to 2005, Sporting News Radio’s “Todd Wright Tonight,” and commentary and analysis for Sun Sports, a Florida cable TV sports network. He’s been a columnist for various publications and websites, including Pro Football Weekly and NHL.com, and an anchor on Tampa Bay Lightning broadcasts.

Wright’s most recent gig was with Tampa Bay’s 98.7 The Fan WHFS from the time the station debuted in 2012 until he was let go in early 2013.
