Lee Arnold

Lee is a former award-winning program director who began his radio career in 1968 at Melbourne’s WTAI-FM and went on to serve at other Florida Atlantic coast stations, including WKKO (Cocoa) and WKPE-FM (Cocoa Beach) as program director. In 1972 he began a four-year stint programming Orlando’s progressive rock WORJ-FM and succeeded in his quest to take the station to the top. He also held similar posts in Gainesville with WGVL, Tampa Bay’s 98 Rock WQXM, Boston’s WAAF, Milwaukee’s WQFM, and Detroit’s WLLZ. His work with RCA Records in New York and Atlanta as U.S. album director also gained him experience in the music industry.

Today (2007), Lee lives in Milwaukee and owns an independent record promotion firm, Lee Arnold Marketing, and Lee Arnold Promotions, producer of ad specialties and promotional products for radio and record companies.
