Julie Kansy

Veteran programmer Julie Kansy joined 97 Country WPCV to co-host the morning “Breakfast Club” with Roger Todd and D.J. Thee Trucker in October 2017. After five years on the job, she was promoted to music director for the station in April 2022.

Julie K (as she is known on the air) came from Cumulus/Shreveport’s Top 40 KQHN where she was PD. She joined Cumulus in 2014 as afternoon drive/APD at sister country KRMD (NASH FM 101.1), was named OM of the company cluster there in 2015, and was also the PD of sports KRMD-AM The Ticket.

Other stations where Kansy has worked include WGGY/Scranton-Wilkes Barre, PA, WMZQ/Washington, DC, and KASE/Austin, TX.
