Bob Larkin
In the early and mid 1950s, Bob was as an announcer for Tampa Bay’s WTSP and WFLA and an early TV weatherman when WFLA’s Channel 8 signed on the air in 1955.
For a couple years, he was in sales and pulled afternoons on the air at WALT (1957-58), later hosted the afternoon “Road Show” at WDAE and was program director for Sarasota’s WSAF AM & FM in the early 1960’s.
