Joe O'Grady

Joe was born in New York City and moved to St. Petersburg in 1963 to pursue his radio career. The WWII and Korean War veteran was a fixture in Tampa Bay broadcasting in the 60’s and, with Earl Wood, co-hosted WSUN’s “Small World.” He also worked with WINQ.

In 1969, he founded Stereo-Go-Round, a retail business that specialized in high-fidelity equipment, and from there went on to a 24-year career as a Certified Financial Planner® before retiring from professional life.

Joe passed away April 3rd, 2012 at the age of 85.
