Roger Bennett

Roger was a native of Evansville, Indiana, and worked for CBS in New York before coming to Florida in 1951.

He was one of the first TV personalities on WSUN-TV Channel 38 in the early/mid 1950’s and went on to join Tampa Bay radio stations WSUN, WTSP, WFLA, and WINQ.

Bennett lived in Tampa at the time of his passing in 1965 of an apparent heart attack. He was 54.
