Charlene Mathias

Charlene was a secretary at WLCY-AM 1380 in the 1960’s who portrayed “The Weather Chick,” a sexy, dumb blonde character on Roy Nilson’s afternoon drive show.

Much of her material for use on the air and in person (she often made personal appearances in character at various station-sponsored events including Star Spectaculars) was written by mid-day "Swingin’ Gentleman" Dave Archard.

In early 1966, Charlene moved to New York where she became a Playboy Bunny and a member of the Copacabana chorus line.
