Nellie Barber

A native of Blackshear, Georgia, Nellie came to the Polk County area from Leesburg in 1947. For 26 years she was the Office Manager and, at one time, part-owner of WSIR in Winter Haven.

Nellie passed away from heart failure in 2002.
