Chuck Bishop

Chuck was co-owner and General Manager of WIPC-AM 1280 in Lake Wales. He and his wife, Elizabeth, headed a group that bought the station from his father-in-law, Kenneth Berkely. In addition to the Bishops, the group also included Jim Sebesta, who would later become a State Representative in Tallahassee, WIPC News Director Arch Abernethy, and George Friend, General Manager of WPLA in Plant City.
