Al Lee

Former Marine and Korean War veteran Al Lee was from Nashville, Georgia. In 1960 he moved from Pompano Beach to Ocala and became a news editor for WTMC, WMOP, and WWKE. He went on to become an award-winning reporter for the Tampa Tribune, city editor with the Ocala Star-Banner, and public relations director for the Florida Department of Corrections.

Lee passed away in January 2006 at the age of 77.
