Rick Richards

Originally from Cairo, Georgia, Rick moved to Lake Placid with his family in 1968 and graduated from high school there in 1979. Following a short stint in the Army, he landed his first radio job at Sebring’s WSEB/WSKP-FM. Other stops in South Central Florida include Avon Park’s WAPR, Wauchula’s WAUC, Sebring’s WJCM and WCAC-FM/WYMR-FM, and six years as program director/PM drive at Avon Park’s WWOJ-FM from 1996 to 2002.

Rick has also done afternoons at WHEN in Syracuse, KRZY in Roswell, NM and was program director at KUFO in Midland, TX and WPCX in Auburn, NY.
