Genesis Communications

Bruce Maduri founded Genesis Communications in 1987. Over the years, the company has owned and operated radio stations in Georgia and Florida markets like Atlanta, Savannah, Miami, Jacksonville, and Fort Pierce.

Today (2012), Genesis stations serve more than 4.39 million people with a presence in the 20th rated market (Tampa Bay), the 35th rated market (Orlando) and 99th rated market (Melbourne-Titusville). Its corporate offices are located in Largo (FL) at 800 8th Avenue Southeast.

Genesis Communications operates six stations along Central Florida’s I-4 corridor – Tampa Bay’s ESPN 1040 AM WHBO (Pinellas Park), 50-kilowatt AM 820 News WWBA (Largo), Newstalk 1470 WMGG (Dunedin), ESPN Radio 1080-AM WHOO (Kissimmee), AM-1190 WAMT (Pine Castle/Sky Lake), and AM-1060 WIXC (Titusville).
