Steve Howard
Steve got his first break in radio at WSIR in his hometown, Winter Haven but also worked at other area stations including WPLA in Plant City. He was hired by WONN Program Director Dave Day in 1984 as an air personality and a year later promoted to Program Director when Day transferred to sister station WPCV. In 1985 he also assumed the duties of Production Manager of WONN and WPCV.
From 1996 to 2006 Steve was Station Manager for Hall Communications’ Big 4 stations in Lakeland, WONN, WPCV, WLKF and WWRZ and today (2006) continues to work for the company.
