WSIR - Tom Moore - 1951
Tom was an announcer and host for several
Mutual network radio shows in the 1940's and
early 50's that aired live from Winter Haven's Florida
Citrus Building. In 1955, he and station founder Larry Rollins,
bookkeeper Nellie Barber, and chief engineer Orden Craig founded
Hundred Lakes Broadcasting with the San Antonio native as president. |
