Announcer talk timer in WGTO Haines City control room- 1957
The small box with the WGTO label to the right of the console was used to tell the announcer that his talk time was up. A timer was activated when the mike switch was turned on. Then, after a specified period of time, a brilliant light flashed a warning to the announcer to stop talking. |
