WSIR - Steve Day - mid 1970's
Steve was born in Washington, DC and raised in Rockville, MD.
His passion for radio was discovered during his second year at Ashland
College in Ohio. However, he dropped out of college in the 1970's, moved
to Florida, and joined WSIR in Winter Haven before later moving to WDAE in
Tampa. After a stop in Daytona Beach, he moved to WTOB in Winston-Salem,
NC and began doing play-by-play sports and reporting sports for a local TV station. |
