WGTO's chief engineer Frank Berry re-designed the transmitter plant's floor plan in 1981 after a 10kw
transmitter had gone up in flames. The work included moving the night phasor and installing a new 1kw night
transmitter and another equipment rack. He also built a new workbench, added a wall and doorway to
