Bob Jones

Bob (Dalton Hammond) was a WONN deejay in 1963-64 whose air shift was afternoon drive from 4 to 7 PM. After leaving Lakeland, he became a top jock for WKIX and other stations in the Raleigh, NC area. He was an extremely good on-air man and production talent, and turned out some memorable promos and commercials for the stations he worked for.

Before leaving North Carolina, he eventually moved into radio sales and, for several years, owned a successful finance business in Newport News, Virginia.

Today (2012), Bob is retired and lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
