Al “Zany” Dohany was an on-air personality at WONN from 1957 until 1962. He was a trumpet player who occasionally worked in local dance bands, and was a track announcer for the Joie Chitwood Auto Thrill Show, returning to work at WONN during the show’s off season.

Al left WONN in the early 1960's and later joined WLAK. He continued to live in Lakeland for many years and passed away in the late1990's.
