Skip Paradise

His real name was  Hardy Gerald “Jerry” Paradise (really, it was), but he was simply “Skip Paradise” on the radio.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native joined WONN in early 1969 when he became the guy hired to pull the afternoon drive air shift from 3 to 7 PM.

Skip worked at WONN for just under two years, staying on with the station through late 1970.
