Mike James
Mike came to WPCV in 2004 as Program Director and to work afternoon drive when longtime PD Dave Wright left to pursue other business interests. Two years later, he was promoted to Operations Manager for all four Hall Communications stations in Lakeland (WONN, WPCV, WLKF, WWRZ).
On September 16, 2019, Mike gave 90 days notice of his retirement, effective Dec. 31, wrapping up a 40-year broadcasting career. He began his radio work in 1979 at a Daytona Beach area station and made stops at WQIK/Jacksonville and WWKA/Orlando on his way to joining WPCV.
