Don Heither

Don was the first host of WPLA’s three-hour Sunday afternoon program of quartet music, Gospel Homecoming (1959-1961).

After a couple years working at the Plant City station on a part-time basis, he left for a full-time position with WDCF in Dade City as sales manager (1961-1963).

Don eventually moved to Bowling Green in Hardee County and passed away there in 2010 at the age of 74.
