Jay Quigley

Jay began his radio career in 1986 as music researcher and board operator at W101 WUSA and AM-1250 WDAE. The next year he added weekend work at Life 680 WLFF and later, weekend overnights at WBVM.

In 1988, his life-long ambition to do on-air work was achieved when he was given the opportunity to host weeknights from 7-midnight (as Jay Scott) on Plant City’s Play 91 WPLA. During his shift, he often ran the board for Cincinnati Reds baseball games as well as a Saturday night program featuring seniors from Plant City High School who would come in and play deejay.

Following his Plant City stint, the Tampa native joined the Sun Radio Network in Clearwater as a producer for nationally syndicated call-in talk shows like Jack Ellery, Chuck Harder's “For The People,” “On the Road with Jeff Brooks,” and numerous others.  While still at Sun, he went back to school, enrolling in Tampa College, where he went on to earn a paralegal degree.

Today (2013), Jay runs Tampa Independent Paralegals, a full service company providing paralegal support to law firms and attorneys.
