Kenny Lamb
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kenny (Lamparyk) got his start in radio while in college at Cleveland State University where he received his B.A. in Mass Communication. He worked at WPLA part-time on Saturday nights from 6 to midnight in 1984 and 1985 while working full time during the day at WPAS in Zephyrhills, his first gig out of college.
In late 1985 Kenny moved to Naples to do mid-days at WSGL-FM, and two years later joined WAVV-FM shortly after it went on the air. Today (2008) he is the Operations Manager there and continues to hold down the mid-day slot.
Kenny is married, and he and his wife Laura have a son, Nathan, and a daughter, Isabel.
