Wes VanZile
Wes was a 1984 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, also known as Penn College, a public university located in Williamsport, affiliated with Pennsylvania State University.
He joined WPLA in 1987 to do the afternoon drive shift when Lakeland’s WLKF, the station he had been working for, automated programming and let go its air staff.
Wes eventually left radio and in October 2013 and moved back to his hometown, Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, where he works as a commodities relocation specialist with Werner Enterprises.
