Who's Who at WPLA

Mike Jenkins

Mike worked part-time for WPLA and was one of the hosts of WPLA’s Sunday gospel music show “Gospel Now!” And, like his cousin, Dick Shiflett (who worked at the station for many years), he had a passion for southern gospel music. He also worked with Dick in the sports department, primarily as a color commentator on WPLA’s Plant City High School “Raider” football and basketball broadcasts.
